Seven Spanish construction companies are in the first positions of the GPoC ranking
Among the 100 top-billing construction companies of 2018, seven are Spanish. Among them, they constitute 5% of the total sales worldwide, which consolidates Spain in sixth position behind China, Japan, the USA, France and South Korea, according to the GPoC ranking elaborated by Deloitte
74% of the companies analyzed in the study registered an increase in their revenue during the previous year. The largest construction companies are found in China, due to the size of the market (41 % of total revenue), Europe (26 %) where its companies lead the ranking in international sales, Japan (13 %), the US (9 %) and South Korea (7 %).
Actividades de Construction y Servicios (ACS) is the Spanish company best positioned in the ranking, located in seventh place behind five Chinese and one French firm. Acciona holds in the 37th position, while Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas (FCC) occupies 43rd place and Ferrovial 47th.
